5/5Kumho Wintercraft WS71Although these tyres are quite comfortable, they are a little bit more slippery than summer tyres on greasy roads in warm weather. However, they managed quite well last year during the extreme cold winter when the roads were icy and ungritted. To test for ice, you would have to make a sharp brake. I still haven't been able to try them in the snow yet.
5/5Michelin Latitude CrossProvides a quiet and smooth experience in a Defender. Offers amazing grip in dry and wet conditions.
5/5Continental Cross Contact UHPMy new tyres are living up to what I expected from them. I've had them on my Discovery and wouldn't pick anything else for now. Once you've paid for quality, it sticks in your mind a long time.
4/5Dunlop Grandtrek Touring A/SProvides excellent grip and handling and gives good feedback through the steering. A quieter and more comfortable choice for the road, and a good choice of tyre overall.
5/5Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015Outstanding in all weather conditions. Exceptional when it comes to dealing with standing water. Surprisingly good off road in mud, and damp grass. No noisier than a road-tyre.
5/5Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015I am quite impressed at the moment but I still have to see how they do in the winter.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUVThese tyres provide confidence in wet conditions and great traction in dry conditions.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 4 SUVPerforms exceptionally well in both dry and wet conditions as expected. Good handling.
4/5Pirelli Scorpion VerdeThey were never advertised as winter tyres, so while they may not perform well in snowy conditions, they will have no issues in other climates.
4/5Pirelli Scorpion VerdeThe front grip is much better than my previous Continentals, even though they still had 2.5mm of tread left.
5/5Bridgestone Alenza 001Comparatively, it is very quiet and offers amazing value compared to other leading brands.
