The size 275/35 R22 is an SUV size specific to the BMW X5 and X6 with staggered wheels. The numbers are simple. 275mm is the measurement for width. 35 is for the aspect ratio, meaning the sidewall (the part of the tyre between the wheel and the tread) is 35% of the width, therefore 96mm (275 x 35/100). R22 indicates that the tyre is a Radial tyre which is built on a 22-inch wheel, and gives a diameter of 751mm. The tyres have a shallow sidewall, meaning that on rough terrain the tyres have low cushioning. We stock 275/35 R22 tyres including the extra load (XL) versions at Tyres.co.uk.
