The Continental SportContact 7 is a summer performance tyre. Having developed these characteristics into a different tyre for vehicles of varying weights and power levels, Continental are adept at responding to market needs. The tread pattern is designed for summer conditions, but with rain and wet roads in mind and coupled with an asymmetric Adaptive Pattern, the outer tread blocks link for cornering, the inner section employs a more open design to deal with water.

Constantly Flexible is a rubber compound designed by Continental, with lateral and vertical grooves, which helps the rubber to conform to road surfaces.

The SportContact 7 is the 7th iteration to replace the SportContact 6. Compared to the SportContact 6, Continental says that the SportContact 7 has less braking distance, a maximum improvement of 8% in the wet and 6% in the dry and an impressive increase of 17% in the tyre lifespan.

Since 2016, I've used Continental tyres, and I trust them a lot. The mileage is phenomenal. For instance, my Insignia in 2016 achieved 42,000 miles and still had 3mm tread left on the front tyres. I have nothing bad to say about Continentals.
