Yes. MR2 fitments can differ between the Mk1, Mk2 and MR2 Roadster, and some setups use different front and rear sizes. Use your registration lookup to match tyres to your exact vehicle.
If registration lookup does not return results, search manually by tyre size from the sidewall (for example 195/50 R15). You can then check load and speed ratings against your vehicle requirements.
The legal minimum is 1.6mm across the central three-quarters of the tyre, around the entire circumference. Many drivers replace earlier for better wet braking and aquaplaning resistance.
After checkout you choose a local fitting garage and an appointment time. The tyres are delivered to the selected fitter, and the garage installs and disposes of your old tyres, with any optional services clearly shown at booking.
Summer tyres are often preferred for sharper dry handling, while all-season tyres can offer more confidence in colder, wetter conditions. Your choice should reflect typical temperatures, mileage and how often you drive the MR2 year-round.
