5/5Avon WV7 SnowThe Avon Winter tyres performed excellently in combination with the Quattro four-wheel drive on my S3. While the S3 was always able to find traction in snow and ice when accelerating with the Michelin summer tyres, it was not always able to find traction when stopping. Compared to summer tyres, the Avon Winter tyres, even on a high-performance four-wheel drive, offered a tremendous improvement, particularly when it came to braking and turning. I am very impressed and would strongly recommend them.
5/5Michelin CrossClimate+The performance is exactly as I expected. Provides good traction in both wet and cold conditions.
5/5Goodyear EfficientGrip Compact 2These tyres were fitted last month and I've been enjoying using them. Good handling and even better in the rain. I love how much traction they have, it makes driving in everyday situations a lot better. Would recommend.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31The front tyres will most likely need to be replaced soon, while the rears are about halfway worn. Traction in wet conditions is good and the wear seems to be what would be expected.
5/5Kumho Ecowing ES31I bought Kumho Ecowing ES31s after one of my front tyres surrendered after I hit a huge pothole on a bad road in the New Forest. The old tyre did 15,000 miles and was already a replacement. The other front tyre was changed as well as it was getting slashed by sharp stones and flint on the gravel road I drive on daily to get to the main road. These tyres are brilliant value for money, offering great grip on both dry and wet roads. They don't seem to wear out quickly as the rubber looks long-lasting and the tread is still almost new after 4,000 miles. They are quiet for a tyre on the motorway and I have driven a bit more carefully and there was an improvement noticed with fuel economy, about 10-12 miles more per tank. Now I get around 485 miles for a fuel consumption of 40 litres of diesel, …
