I was really hoping for a quiet ride, and to my surprise, these tyres are very quiet and grip well under dry and mildly wet conditions. Overall, my experience has been positive, and I am hoping for even more in heavily raining conditions. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

255/60 R17 is a relatively big tyre size, common as original equipment on some VW Touareg and Mercedes M-Class vehicles. The first number, 255, is the width of the tyre in mm.
