Its tread uses chunky, interlocking blocks to create a stable contact patch under acceleration, braking and cornering, while wide circumferential grooves help move water away to reduce the chance of standing-water slip on wet UK roads. Small tread edges and sipes add extra biting points, supporting traction on damp tarmac and loose surfaces such as gravel.
