The Michelin Primacy 4+ is a premium summer tyre that focuses on improving safety and performance with wear. It employs Michelin EverGrip Technologies to maintain wet braking performance as the tyre wears by generating new grooves to clear water from the tyre. The Primacy 4+ uses two rubber compounds in the tread, with the outer layer wearing away to preserve the water channeling grooves. Michelin’s MaxTouch Construction evenly distributes the forces of acceleration, braking, and cornering over the patch of road the tyre is in contact with, promoting even wear of the tread.

The Primacy 4+ is the successor to the Primacy 4, and is in turn succeeded by the Primacy 5. There are reinforced XL variants for heavier vehicles. We have the Michelin Primacy 4+ available at Tyres.co.uk.

They work great, but my only problem with Michelin tyres is that the sidewalls always start to crack after a couple of years which then gets noted as an advisory on the MOT.

I primarily drive in the city so I don't drive a lot. The tyres have held up well in all weather. I've had them for 18 months, but I still feel like they're new. My experience at the garage fitting wasn't great, so I'll go somewhere else for fittings next time.

As expected, I'm not overly concerned. I've had the tyre fitters do the inflation, but it seems the ride feels firmer than I expected. No idea on the correct pressure.
