The Firestone Firehawk SZ90 offers an ultra-high-performance tyre option for summer with an emphasis on speed and wet handleability. The asymmetric tread pattern utilises Pulse Groove Technology and minimises turbulence of exterior water moving through the tread channels. The inner side has a layout of grooves that are more open to quickly remove water while the outer side has stiffer blocks to withstand the outer side’s cornering forces. The central pattern’s water moving grooves are designed in 3D.
The SZ90 is the successor to the Firehawk SZ80 in Firestone’s high-performance road range. The range offers Reinforced XL construction for vehicles that require extra load capacity.
