VanHawk 2 Winter Tyres description & features

The Firestone VanHawk 2 Winter is a winter tyre designed for vans that prioritises snow traction and wet braking for winter commuting in a commercial vehicle. The tread incorporates directional grooves that, when the tyre rotates, push water and slush away from the contact patch. Additionally, traction is improved as these zig-zag sipes snow.

As a successor of the VanHawk Winter range, the VanHawk 2 Winter carries the 3PMSF designation on the sidewall, qualifying it for the grip test and certification as a severe winter tyre. The VanHawk 2 Winter is also marked with an M+S designation for a Mud and Snow tyre. The Firestone VanHawk 2 Winter is available on Tyres.co.uk.

The fitting process was very easy, the garage was able to fit all four tyres in about an hour. The staff were nice and very knowledgeable, explaining every step. I definitely feel better knowing I've got good winter tyres on my van now.

These are excellent tyres. I've done about 400 miles and they seem solid so far. They are quite on the road and I don't feel any vibrations. The car feels stable even at higher speeds. I can't say much about the wear yet.

I have had these Firestone VanHawk 2 Winter tyres for around a month now. I have had them for a month and while driving in the recent snow I had great grip and they handled well above the previous brand I had on my van.
