I feel good about my choice of these Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tyres. I drove out of the garage, I noticed a significant difference in ease of driving and comfort. The fitters were meticulous and very friendly and went as far as showing me the differences in tread patterns and explained why each was better. Even on the wet roads, I felt more confident than with my previous tyres. Considering the quality of these tyres, I am looking forward to more miles.

285/40 R23 fitted to SUVs, like the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, is considered original equipment. 285 means the width is 285mm. 40 is the sidewall aspect ratio, meaning the height is 40% of the 285mm. So the height is 114mm. R23 means a radial tyre on a 23-inch rim. Therefore, the overall diameter is 812mm. The 114 sidewall means the SUVs have a good tyre depth below the rim.
