The Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 blends essential features for an ultra-high-performance all-season tyre, working effectively with the intricacies of dry-road and cold-weather driving. The tyre is built with a tread compound that remains flexible at lower temperatures. Sunflower oil is infused in the tyre with Michelin’s Helio+ Technology to help with cold weather driving. Its asymmetric tread pattern features front to back grooves to reduce aquaplaning with larger outer edge tread blocks to help with cornering. The tread is supported with Dynamic Response Technology, which features a hybrid belt made of aramid and nylon to help transmit steering commands.

The Pilot Sport A/S 4 is Michelin’s newest upgrade to its ultra-high-performance all-season tyre line after the Pilot Sport A/S 3+. The Pilot Sport A/S 4 is said to outperform competitors in cold weather driving by providing 29% better driving snow traction after internal snow testing conducted by Michelin. I feel good about my choice of these Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tyres. I drove out of the garage, I noticed a significant difference in ease of driving and comfort. The fitters were meticulous and very friendly and went as far as showing me the differences in tread patterns and explained why each was better. Even on the wet roads, I felt more confident than with my previous tyres. Considering the quality of these tyres, I am looking forward to more miles.

Not unhappy, but would prefer a slightly quieter ride. Grip is decent, but I don't feel as confident with these as I did with my old Michelin sets. I might try again if road noise decreases.
