In my experience, it has also helped with wet and even wintry weather when driving light snow/slush. It is astonishing how well a summer tyre can perform and the all-season tyres should last a reasonable time.
2/5Continental Cross Contact LX SportTerrible in the rain. These tyres should not be suggested for a 4x4 like my Range Rover Sport. The vehicle slides on slippery surfaces and can easily aquaplane at low speeds in light rain.

5/5Pirelli Scorpion Zero All SeasonHandles deep snow and slush exceptionally well. Icy surfaces aren't as good as you would expect with all-season tyres. Yet, they still fair well and handle well in wet conditions.
