Why are the tyre details from the registration search different to those on my vehicle?

When searching for registration, if results do not match your current tyres

If the results for the tyre size in our registration search do not match the tyres currently on your vehicle, this may indicate the tyres or wheels have been changed to items that are not original equipment.

Possible Reasons

• It is possible that aftermarket alloy wheels of a different size were installed
• Maybe the dealer, as part of a special promotion or package, installed different sized wheels
• The vehicle may have had non-OE suspension and wheels installed

What to do

In most cases, you should use the tyres currently on the vehicle. Use the size markings located on the sidewall and use the search by size. To return to OE specifications, use the results from the registration search.
