How long does the fitting take?

Fitting time

The time needed depends on how many tyres are being fitted and any additional services.

Typical timescales

• Four tyres — 30 to 60 minutes
• Two tyres — 20 to 40 minutes
• Single tyre — 15 to 30 minutes

While you wait

Many fitting centres have a waiting area where you can sit while the work is done. Alternatively, if the centre is in a convenient location, you can leave the car and come back when it is ready. Ask the centre about their preference when you arrive.
