History

The history and journey of Lanvigator, from its creation in 1997 to its modern day production and global distribution, is underpinned by expansion, innovation, and its desire to remain at the forefront of tyre design and technology.

Lanvigator Tyres are produced by the Shandong Haohua Tire Company in China and are exposed to leading research which allows the tyres to be tested in real climates, conditions, and across varying terrains. This is particularly prolific across the Lanvigator range, as these are tyres which are made to traverse mountains, rough tracks, and adverse conditions – from the Valiant RTX model to the FastOne touring tyre.

The characteristics of Lanvigator’s tyres, the unique tread patterns, and the reliable and extra strong constructions, all enabled the brand to enter the market as a popular and high-rated producer of tyres for the future.

Lanvigator’s Position on the Tyre Market

Lanvigator Tyres is recognised as a premium tyre brand, on the same level as other names like Michelin, Bridgestone, Continental and Pirelli.

Not only does it offer value for money in terms of its tyres’ functionality and durability, but the diverse collection encompasses different conditions and terrains for off-road and touring vehicles. Other features noted by Lanvigator customers and drivers include the quality assurance and high-performance design of tyres, the cost-effectiveness with regards to tread pattern lifespan and longevity, and the safety which remains consistent regardless of driving conditions.

Many of the benefits of Lanvigator tyres are seen in adverse conditions, though the brand remains accessible and versatile with its road tyre collection too.

Popular Lanvigator Tyre Models and Collections

Lanvigator Tyres tends to be best known for all-season and high-performance tyres that suit a range of conditions. Collections like the FastOne touring tyres are ideal for everyday driving and road navigation, while the Lanvigator Catchfors A/T tyre is a safe and long life tyre which is reinforced with a steel belt and uses a unique rubber compound to maximise stability.

Other popular collections include the Lanvigator Banger HT tyres for light trucks and commercial vehicles, the Flair tyres for SUVs, and the Lanvigator Mile Max model. The Flair collection in particular offers a blend of responsive handling on different terrains with a smooth and quiet driving experience, while the off-road quality tyre collections are built to enhance suspension and comfort, and emphasise grip.

Browsing the Lanvigator Catalogue by Season
From off-road driving to high-speed track racing and navigating the city during your daily commute, choosing the right tyres is often informed by external conditions, surfaces and climates. UK drivers are often drawn to the year-round safety and convenience of all-season tyres – though these do little to lean into and enhance summer and winter performance.

The best all-season tyre from any premium brand offers a balance of grip in challenging conditions, and precise handling and performance in dry conditions. The Lanvigator Flair tyre is an SUV tyre for varying climates and terrains, while the Excite All-Season tyre offers both control and grip on dry and wet roads. The Excite tyre tends to be the one that Lanvigator recommends to UK drivers seeking safe but enjoyable performance all-year round.

Summer tyres need to be able to navigate the change from wet to dry conditions, optimising wet grip as well as dry road handling and high temperatures. They often boast reinforced sidewalls for strength and are stable with added shoulder blocks and deep grooves to dispel surface water. The Lanvigator Comfort II, the Lanvigator Catchpower Plus, the Catchpower SUV range, and the Lanvigator A607 are all reputable summer models.

Winter tyres are designed to support good grip, traction, and adverse condition handling. They have deep grooves and strong tread blocks, with an added flexibility to the rubber to ensure stability and control. In the Lanvigator collection, the Snowpower and CatchSnow tyres are the best winter tyres – while notable models for off-road and challenging terrain include the Valiant MTX for mud and the Valiant AT all-terrain tyre.

5/5

Lanvigator Performax

So far, these tyres have exceeded my expectations. Even with nasty weather, I feel secure driving on them. I have done a mixture of different driving experiences and they have not failed me. These tyres are very reassuring on long trips.

5/5

Lanvigator Comfort II

I pushed these tyres through torrential rain and they did exceptionally well. There is a clear improvement in handling compared to my last set. Road noise is tolerable and I wouldn't describe them as noisy. I am happy with my decision for my vehicle.

5/5

Lanvigator Catchpower Plus

I think these tyres are performing phenomenally! I have taken them on some twisting country roads and I felt safe. The ride was smooth, mileage was no issue, and the fitting was done quickly and well.

5/5

Lanvigator Performax

Great confidence inspiring performance in the bends. Never slipped in the wet, and rain performance is truly exceptional. I've done a huge variety of driving and the tyres still show zero signs of wear. Extremely impressive.
