Autogreen tyres was founded in 1995 in Beijing and has since become a global manufacturer of affordable tyres. Popular with drivers for the value for money and high levels of safety and grip as well as comfort, Autogreen tyres include high-performance and seasonal tyres as well as generic all-season tyres and specific designs like run-flat tyres.

Autogreen tyres falls under the ownership and production of the Best Choice International Trade Company – with some of the brand benefits including eco-efficiency, low rolling resistance, and reinforced sidewalls for maximum stability and strength.

Autogreen Tyres is positioned as a mid-range tyre brand for drivers who want to balance durability and reliable performance with cost. These tyres do not support the same performance level as premium brands like Pirelli and Michelin, but they are safe to drive on and boast features that ensure they can safely navigate different terrains, conditions, and climates.

When browsing the Autogreen tyres collection, drivers need to consider the climate they are driving in and whether tyres are compatible with extra features like run-flat design. If fitted with a TPMS, run-flat tyres provide an extra layer of support and safety against punctures and blowouts, while the seasonal designs and high-performance enhancements offer enhanced comfort and handling at speed.

Among the most popular models, the Autogreen Sport Chaser SC2, Autogreen Smart Chaser SC1, and the high-performance Autogreen SuperSport Chaser SSC5 tyres are all engineered with sophisticated tread patterns and strong rubber compounds to minimise wear, mitigate the risk of punctures, and support smooth driving. The SuperSport Chaser SSC5 is a year-round tyre that is particularly prevalent when balancing performance with value.

Other notable models include the Autogreen Versat-AS2 which is an all-season tyre but with features that specifically support safe winter driving.

Browsing the Autogreen Catalogue by Season

One of the easiest ways to select new tyres for your car is by season. UK drivers can benefit from the versatility of all-season tyres or opt for specific winter or summer tyres to optimise performance and handling in variable weather conditions. However, the tyres you choose will depend largely on your driving style and location.

Autogreen All-Season Tyres

Some of the best Autogreen all-season tyres bridge dry and wet road performance with good traction on snowy and icy roads. Resistance to aquaplaning is an important trait of both all-season and summer tyres, with all-season tyres in particular needing to be able to optimise grip even when that water turns to ice. Some of the best all-season tyres from the Autogreen range include the Versat-AS2 tyres and Tourer Chaser TC1 tyres – though the latter do not support high-speed driving on snow and so are best in southern areas where snowfall on the roads is unlikely. The All Season Van-AS7 tyres are another model that’s well suited to year-round driving on larger vehicles.

Autogreen Summer Tyres

The very best summer tyres on the market can uphold and support the weight of the vehicle, by combining a high load index with reinforced sidewalls that keep the shape of the tyre even in warm temperatures. They also bridge dry performance with wet grip, for superior handling and cornering. Autogreen’s top summer tyres include the Sport Chaser SC2 tyres, Smart Cruiser SC7 tyres, and Autogreen Harmonic SC4 tyres.

Autogreen Winter Tyres

Winter tyres combine extra pliable rubber compounds for consistent flexibility, with deep tread grooves and sophisticated tread patterns – maximising grip on ice, snow, and in adverse weather conditions. Among the best Autogreen winter tyres, look out for the Autogreen Snowcruiser WL7 tyres and Snow Leopard III tyres - making sure to select the correct tyre size for your car, and the right specifications to minimise noise levels when driving on challenging road surfaces.

With Autogreen an affordable, budget-friendly brand that produces seasonal tyres and high performance tyres, as well as everyday car tyres for passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, this is a popular go-to brand for many UK drivers.

If you need support comparing Autogreen with other reputable and high quality brands, you want to understand the difference between this and premium brands like Falken and Dunlop, or you want to learn more about local tyre fitting and maintenance servicing, head to our Knowledge Hub.

5/5

Autogreen Super Sport Chaser SSC5

Excellent result in both wet and dry conditions.

5/5

Autogreen Smart Cruiser SC7

I was impressed with the traction during heavy rain storms.

3/5

Autogreen Super Sport Chaser SSC5

From what I can tell about the conditions of the road, the tyres seem to work well on the dry road, but I'm sure they have an issue with wet and damp surfaces, resulting in decreased grip. After using these tyres for three months, they have got noisier on the road compared to how quiet they were when new.
