Handling of the car is definitely better. Steering is now more responsive and communicative. Grip thresholds are smooth whether it is wet or dry. There is a little bit more tyre noise, but I think it is a good trade off to get the benefits.

Even though they are quieter, the handling doesn't feel as sharp or precise as the recommended Continental tyres for Audi; it feels very loose.

The 285/35 R21 tyre is original equipment on some larger executive BMW 7 Series and i7 models in staggered sets. The numbers are easy to decode. 285 is the tyre width in mm. 35 is the aspect ratio so the sidewall is 35% of 285mm which is approximately 100mm. R21 means a radial tyre on a 21-inch rim giving an overall diameter of 733mm. That 100mm sidewall is appropriate for their large wheel set. We have 285/35 R21 on Tyres.co.uk, which includes run-flat and XL versions.
