Pirelli Winter 240 SottoZero Serie II

These tyres do reasonably well: good grip in the rain, although they're not so good in hot weather (after all, they're made for winter). I noticed the grip when starting off wasn't very impressive, but that could also just be how I drive this car, I'm thinking of how I drove with the tyres on my previous car. The summer tyres seem to have more grip, but that could also just be down to the road rather than the tyres.

The brand and price of these tyres come as expected as they are amazing! They give excellent road grip while generating almost no noise and work exceptionally well in both wet and dry conditions. They really provide good confidence while driving.

Outstanding performance on snow, mud, and rain, however, fuel efficiency is decreased by 10-15%.

255/45 R17 is the large low-profile size found on many performance saloon models, like the X308 Jaguar XJR. The numbers are simple. 255 is the tyre width in millimetres. 45 is the sidewall height expressed as an aspect ratio, so in this case 45% of 255mm (or 115mm).
