5/5Michelin CrossClimate 3While these tyres may not be conventional for an SLK, they have done an admirable job in all conditions (haven't tested them in snow yet). With an enhanced performance RWD, cornering traction is really important to me, and these tyres provide that. Additionally, they help to protect my £2,000 wheels by providing cushioning over rough and pothole-filled roads.
5/5Michelin Pilot Sport 5I always go with Michelin because they are superior to the original tyres on my car. They provide a smoother ride, have great wet grip, and last a long time as well.
5/5Continental Sport Contact 5It is a lot more pleasant to drive on the road as the drive has dramatically improved.
5/5Michelin Pilot Super SportProvide excellent grip and much better wet performance than the P-Zeros I had before, plus they are much more comfortable.
5/5Michelin Pilot Super SportIn almost all conditions, excluding snow (understandable as it is a performance tyre), I found their grip to be excellent. The grip is excellent and predictable, with traction only breaking, and only when you push it on purpose. I would buy them again, no doubt.
5/5Continental Sport Contact 5The tyres give the car great grip for cornering and stopping in wet and dry conditions. Since they are the original equipment tyres for the car and the perform exceptionally well, it made sense to stick with the same brand for replacements.
5/5Michelin CrossClimate 3Excellent in winter conditions but may slip a bit on damp roads on a spirited drive. If you want a good all season winter tyre for your rear-wheel drive then the cross climate 3 sport is your best option. Good tyre overall; I changed to these from my cross climate 2s.
