Sundus K.

Bought these for a trip to Germany over Christmas. Temperature was around -6 and it snowed a lot during my time there. They were really good, no slipping, and the car handled…

Continental All Season Contact 2

Rebecca Jardine

With regards to fuel efficiency, the tyres are performing excellently. The grip on wet surfaces and the noise level in the car, compared to other tyres I've used, are excellent.

Bridgestone Turanza 6

Taiya Cracknell

I've selected these tyres for year-round use. They performed adequately in summer and now I'm looking forward to see how they will perform in winter.

5/5

Michelin Primacy 4+

It's really nothing new since it is the same type as before.

The deeper sidewall absorbs the impact of bumps. We stock 225/50 R19 at Tyres.co.uk. This size also represents a combination of large wheel sizes. The constituents of the size are as follows: 225 is the width of the tyre in millimetres; 50 is the aspect ratio (50 percent of 225 millimetres is equal to 112 millimetres); R indicates a radial tyre; and 19 shows the rim size in inches. The overall size gives 708 millimetres. The depth of the tyre takes the edge off everyday bumps. We also have the XL versions.

Part of the size	Value	What it means
Section width	225	The width of the tyre across the tread, measured in millimetres.
Profile (aspect ratio)	50	Sidewall height as a percentage of the width - here, 50% of 225 mm (about 112 mm).
Construction	R	Radial construction, which is what nearly all road tyres use.
Rim diameter	19	The wheel diameter the tyre fits, measured in inches.
