Product description & features

Michelin e.Primacy is a summer tyre for passenger vehicles that aids efficiency for both electric and hybrid vehicles. When rolling, electric and hybrid vehicles lose energy. Michelin’s Energy Passive Compound helps minimise heat build-up and loss energy. Unlike traditional designs, e.Primacy has a front to back groove design to aid water evacuation under the tyre. Michelin’s MaxTouch Construction helps disperse braking, accelerating and cornering forces.

Additionally, e.Primacy is offered with an inner surface acoustic foam liner, helping to minimise disruptive resonance noise in the cabin. The construction remains XL and reinforced for vehicles that require a higher load. The EU fuel efficiency, wet grip and exterior noise ratings will vary based on the particular tyre size. Tyres.co.uk stocks all variants of the Michelin e.Primacy, including the XL and acoustic variants.

Highlights

  • Front-to-back water grooves
  • Acoustic foam liner available

Tyre review for Michelin e.Primacy 225/50R19 96V
The tread depth is half a millimetre more than the recommended Bridgestone Ecopia's. They seem quieter than the Bridgestones, and the driving sensation is just as good, if not slightly better. However, I have taken one star off due to two punctures and a blowout. These could be random occurrences, but it does give me the impression they might not be as durable as the Bridgestones. Regardless, they are a good buy and only a little more expensive.

The tyres passed the most recent MOT and have great road grip. The positive reviews influenced my purchasing decision.
