An asymmetric tread design gives the Yokohama Geolandar CV 4S G061 specific functions for each of the tread's two halves; the inner half aids traction in wet conditions and in snow, and the outer half aids performance in dry conditions. The inner half employs 3D sipes and a pair of directional grooves to aid snow traction and water dispersion, respectively, while an outer half block structure aids dry road stopping and steering. This product employs an all-season, high-silica compound.

3PMSF and M+S designations are present on this product; the former indicates that this product has passed the minimum requirements for snow grip (as defined by a governing body). The outer half's block spacing is made with a variable pitch to minimise road noise. The Yokohama Geolandar CV 4S G061 is available from Tyres.co.uk.

I swapped out the regular Bridgestone tyres on my Subaru Outback for these tyres and it was the best decision I could have made. Now the car feels more stable overall and the handling improved drastically, especially during wet and slushy conditions. Although these were intended for winter use, I am anticipating keeping them on the car all year due to the frequent rains in Scotland.

The last set of tyres and my current tyres both performed similarly well during the winter, however, on my current tyres, I have noticed that on rougher and more uneven roads with large potholes, and crumbling surfaces, the tyres tend to bounce a lot and lose grip. I have to reduce my speed in order to avoid skidding.

Having used these tyres for almost two years now, I am still very happy with them. They have performed flawlessly during two winters and summers where I live. I am retired now and drive around 6,200 miles a year, so I expect to get quite a few more years out of these Yokohama tyres.

The best tyres for all conditions. They handle cold, wet roads well and clear standing water on the wet motorway. The deep, slightly aggressive tread design looks good and increases grip in the mud. I used them in some snow and they were as good as my old Hankook winter tyres. The road noise is similar to my last set. I've only done 3,000 miles and can't comment on long term wear, but they are really good tyres and I'd recommend them.

These tyres are good for all surfaces whether it be tarmac, gravel or wet conditions. They do tend to be noisy on tarmac and aren't the most economical. They have a rather large flaw though - durability. At only 9,300 miles, they are already halfway down to the wear limit! If you are thinking about getting these tyres, winter is the best time as they will last you the whole year. By the end of the next summer, they will most likely be ready to be thrown out.

These are great for icy motorway conditions where stopping distances are decent, they also perform quite well in town although they could be a bit better. I got a puncture caused by a screw, so if you're driving in the country a lot, you might want to get something a bit sturdier.

The tyres are good in spring and summer. I'm curious to see how they perform in winter as they are hybrid tyres. The tread copes well with heat. There is good traction, especially around corners. Very good price for all-terrain.

I picked these tyres because of their great grip on all surfaces. Unfortunately, the back tyres on my Subaru wore really quickly and I had to replace them after 6000 miles. The front tyres however weren't a problem. The ride is quite stiff because of the tyres which I assume would be the case along with more noise than the Bridgestones I had before which I also expected. These tyres are great if grip is your number one priority.
