Yokohama has engineered the V105F variant of the Advan Sport to optimise performance in warm and wet conditions in the realm of ultra-high-performance summer tyres. Stable cornering and wet braking have been achieved through the use of an asymmetric tread pattern and a reinforced ply structure. The outer tread of the V105F incorporates larger tread blocks for wet stability and supporting the tread through cornering, while the inner tread utilises a channel system for water evacuation. Yokohama’s Micro Silica Blend Compound has been integrated into the tread to provide grip on wet surfaces and diminish rolling resistance, while a patented Matrix Body Ply has been engineered to retain the body structure of the tyre through cornering.

Tyres in this range incorporate different designations for the complete sidewall description, so a tyre replacement should adhere to the designation inscribed on the sidewall. In the evolution of the Advan Sport range, the V107 has superseded the V105, while the V105F has retained its position as a specification for original equipment.
