The Pirelli Scorpion Elect is a green summer tyre for electric and hybrid plug-in SUV models. With large grooves, this tyre makes channels on the face of the tyre which help get rid of water for superior braking performance on wet surfaces. This tyre reduces noise and vibrations due to the reinforced construction, while the ELECT technology of Pirelli minimises road resistance to save battery life.

According to Pirelli, due to the trade-off of low rolling resistance, this technology could extend the range of the electric vehicle up to 10%. Created for summer, the Pirelli Scorpion Elect should be used for regular use on UK roads tarmac, higher than 7 degrees centigrade. We supply the Pirelli Scorpion Elect at Tyres.co.uk.

I put these on my car not long ago and have found them to be excellent for wet weather conditions-they grip the road brilliantly. They are also very good in very light snow. The car feels much more stable rounding corners with these fitted, and I'm glad to have made the switch.
