An asymmetric tread pattern helps keep a consistent contact patch under acceleration and cornering. Stiffer outer shoulder blocks support confident turn-in and reduce tread “squirm”, while the broad centre area promotes straight-line stability at motorway speeds. The result is a tyre that feels direct through the steering and remains composed when the road surface changes.

For wet weather, wide circumferential grooves and carefully placed lateral channels move water away from the tread, helping to resist aquaplaning and maintain grip in heavy rain. The compound and fine tread detailing are tuned to improve wet braking without making the ride overly harsh, while the robust casing is designed to cope with heat and load associated with higher-performance driving.
