The Hilo Genesys XP1 is a passenger-car tyre featuring an asymmetric tread that provides dry and wet performance. It features deep tread grooves that allow water to bypass the contact patch for improved traction in flooding. Slits across the tread provide additional edges for wet traction and an arrangement in the sequence of the tread pitches minimises road noise.

The tread wears evenly throughout its life and provides a longer life span for the tyre. The construction also focuses on fuel economy. Tyres.co.uk offers the Hilo Genesys XP1.

Good on dry surfaces, terrible in the wet. Tyres just had 1,200 miles of use and no aggressive driving so they were correctly pressured, balanced and aligned as well. I will not be buying this brand again.

Initially, I was doubtful regarding the value of this tyre since it was very cheap, but it ended up being a good purchase. We put them on the back wheels of my Suzuki which is front-wheel-drive, and they are wearing down quite evenly; less so if it was the front. They perform quite well in heavy rain and are about as average in snow as any other summer tyres. All in all, I am quite satisfied.
