The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 is an all-season tyre built around Goodyear’s Weather Reactive Technology. This technology features a specially designed compound for varying temperatures and a directional tread for wet and winter road traction. Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 features V-shaped grooves that get progressively wider towards the outer edge of the tyre to channel water and slush out of the tread pattern. The design also features a high-density 3D waffle blade which creates biting edges for snow and ice. The interlocking blades help improve handling on dry pavement.

The tyre’s sidewall features a 3PMSF marking which indicates that the tyre has met the recognised test standard for severe snow conditions. The Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 model was made after the Vector 4Seasons model and was before the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 model. Tyres.co.uk has the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 in stock.

I have been fitting Goodyear Vector 4Season G2 and G3 tyres on a few of our family vehicles. They are a good all around tyre that handle well and stay stable going in a straight line. Most importantly, these tyres provide good grip on cold, wet and muddy roads and in some snow. They also provide a good level of confidence in these conditions. Their mileage is about the same as most summer tyres (30 to 40,000 miles if you rotate them front to back) but summer ones perform badly in autumn and winter, and some are downright dangerous in a wet summer. I believe these kinds of quality all season tyres should be law in the UK.
