The Dunlop Grandtrek AT5 OWL is an all-terrain tyre designed for ease of use on the road and on loose tracks. It features sidewall lettering for a classic 4x4 look. The tyre's tread features a central zig-zag design to reinforce the tread when the tyre is being used for braking and cornering on paved roads. The outer tread blocks are more widely spaced with open blocks to allow dirt and gravel to escape when the surface is unpaved.

The Grandtrek AT5 also has a channel running the length of the tread to evacuate water from the surface, aided by narrow slits on the tread blocks to create additional biting edges when the surface is wet. The AT5 OWL is the version with outlined lettering on the sidewalls. You can find the Dunlop Grandtrek AT5 OWL tyre on Tyres.co.uk.

I feel much more confident driving with these tyres as they are amazing. Excellent grip on all surfaces and much quieter than my last ones. I especially feel more confident driving for long distances in the rain and even when its dry.

What a difference! The grip and feel on cornering, especially when it is wet, is terrific. I feel much safer now. I have not noticed too much noise on the roads even on the motorways. I do feel they are heavier, but I guess that's this trade-off for reliability.

I've done a few hundred miles on them and so far they feel great. They corner and are more stable than my old tyres which were terrible. They are definitely quieter on the motorway so longer trips are more enjoyable. Overall very happy, but only time will tell on how long they last.
