The Cooper CS7 is a summer tyre with a focus on braking on wet roads. It uses a silica tread compound and a special tyre channel called Aqua Vac to get rid of the water the tyre is making contact with. It has 3D Micro-Gauge Siping which is a series of micro slits that increase the surface area contact on wet roads and provide support to the tread block during cornering on dry roads. The pattern is designed to channel water through the grooves of the tread and will not retain water on the tyre.
The CS7 is the successor to the Cooper CS2 of the passenger car range. It has Cooper's Wear Square technology allowing the driver to visually identify remaining tread depth. This tyre is optimally designed for summer driving with temperatures above 7 degrees Celsius. Tyres.co.uk has stock of the Cooper CS7.
