The Cooper Zeon 4xSport is an asymmetric summer tyre designed for stability on wet roads. This summer tyre focuses on the performance needs of powerful 4x4s and SUVs. The outer edge of the tread pattern contains large linked blocks of rubber for strong cornering. The inner edge of the pattern contains long channels to draw water away and to provide the tyre with added dry and wet stability. The centre of the tread contains a continuous band of rubber to provide control and stability for the driver at high on-centre speeds.
The variable pitch tread pattern is composed of blocks that are placed at non-regular intervals around the tyre to lessen the repetitive impact noise that is characteristic of most summer tyre constructions.
