The Continental PremiumContact 6 focuses on wet weather performance and cornering control in the design and construction of the tyre, as a summer season premium tyre. Continental’s Safety Silica Compound gives the tyre extra grip under wet weather conditions and maintains the summer season responsive feel. The PremiumContact 6’s tread design is asymmetric. The outer edge of the tyre features macro-block design shoulder elements. Continental’s Safety Silica Compound helps the inner edge of the PremiumContact 6 follow the road and has a water evacuation design. The PremiumContact 7 succeeded the 6 in the Continental range. Several variants feature noise cancelling, foam inner linings, and other variants feature a sealing, protective layer that prevents punctures. These tyres make me very happy. They are more quiet than the Yokohama BluEarth ones that I had. Although I have not observed any fuel economy changes, the grip in wet conditions is noticeably better.

I'm very happy with the Continentals. I have Toyo tyres on the front, and I have to say, they are disappointing. They are much too stiff and far too noisy. The Continentals are great and nice and quiet with awesome grip. I will change to Continentals all around as soon as the Toyos are done.

These tyres are of a lower quality than the previous ones I've purchased. I feel like the quality has dropped these tyres. I have driven less than I usually do and the tyres already seem more worn than normal. With regards to the terrible roads we have in the UK, I honestly expected the tyres to last longer than they are doing. If I have to replace the tyres more regularly, I could just buy cheaper tyres and that would make more sense.
