Fit and seem alright, but a bit noisy.

275/45 R22 is a Land Rover Defender OEM SUV tyre size. The numbers break down like this: 275 means the tyre is 275mm wide. 45 stands for the sidewall, 45% of 275mm and gives us 124mm. R22 shows it is a radial tyre and it is mounted on a 22-inch rim. With a sidewall of 124mm, it protects the rim from road irregularities. The Defender tyres are designed to suit off-road conditions and that is why we have them available on Tyres.co.uk. The 21-inch version of 275/45 R22 is 275/50 R21. It has a bigger overall diameter of 808.4mm, which is 0.26% bigger than 806mm. The rolling diameter is the same to within an acceptable range despite the new rim size. Get your fitment checked before making the change.
