225/65 R16 is a common tyre size for large SUVs, MPVs, and some vans where larger sidewalls assist with driving on uneven surfaces and over kerbs. The first number, 225, is the width of the tyre in millimetres. The second number is the sidewall height in relation to the width, in this case, 65% of 225. This gives a sidewall height of 146mm.
