Designed for cars, rather than vans, 4x4s or commercial vehicles.
Designed for temperatures below 7°C. Summer tyre rubber hardens in the cold and loses grip, while a winter compound stays soft and holds the road in cold, wet and snowy conditions.
The Nankang SL-6 is designed for commercial vans. It has four grooves that run across the tread for wet weather drainage. These grooves move water from the centre of the tread. Continuous ribs give SL-6 a focus shape for delivery and motorway driving. The outer edge tread has solid blocks that support the tread while turning. The SL-6 is designed for light commercial vans.
The SL-6 has smaller channels in the ribs that help with drainage as they carry water to the edges of the van. The SL-6 is designed with a tread compound that is hard for durability over frequent driving on smooth, paved roads. Its reinforced carcass supports the load carrying role of vans. The Nankang SL-6 is available on Tyres.co.uk.
