4/5Avon ZZ3Unlike my previous tyres, these ones do a much better job at avoiding road noise and give better grip in rain, shine, and of course, everything in between. They also increase comfort while driving and better improve response time to steering adjustments. After 8,000 miles, they still show very little wear and tear and I am pleased with them.
5/5Bridgestone Potenza SportI have more confidence with the dry grip on my MR2 Mk2. Since it is rear wheel drive, the wet conditions can become unpredictable very quickly so I always ease off the throttle. But so far it's been okay.
3/5Avon ZZ3I had these tyres on my Proton Satria GTi and they're okay but I would consider them mid-range, not premium. Tread life was pretty typical of mid-range tyres; they lasted me about 15,000 miles and wore evenly. However, I didn't think they provided amazing grip in drier conditions when driving a bit hard. Their performance in the wet was really bad steering and hoping for the best. They were also pretty loud. I had an issue with these directional tyres where they pulled the car slightly to the left when driving straight. After I had the tracking and wheel alignment done and finally changed to an asymmetrical pattern, the car started driving fine. I would personally say either spend a bit more on something like a Goodyear for better performance, safety, and longer tread life, or spend less and get something like a Toyo or Kumho, which have better grip and the same tread wear.
5/5Avon ZZ3What makes this tyre so special is how well it grips in the wet. In my opinion, it is much better than the Continental Sport Contacts that were on my car, and is quieter on the road.
5/5Uniroyal RainSport 5The tyres are performing like I expected from my past experience with the same ones on the rear. They grip well and feel good in the wet, although I tend to avoid driving in the rain.
5/5Avon ZZ3Compared to the Michelin Pilot Sport 2s and the Continental Sport Contact 3s these are a lot quieter and seem to stop better in wet conditions. The steering is also great and perhaps better because it feels lighter and more nimble. I'll have to wait and see how they hold up long term.
5/5Kumho Ecsta PS71If you take some corners quickly, you will notice you can go much faster than before because the tyres have better traction, and steer much more responsively due to the sensitivity in the steering during dynamic mode. The tyres also absorb rough roads such as bumps and potholes.
5/5Uniroyal RainSport 5The tyres are performing like I expected from my past experience with the same ones on the rear. They grip well and feel good in the wet, although I tend to avoid driving in the rain.
5/5Bridgestone Potenza S001Fantastic! I will certainly get the same ones again when it is time for a change.
5/5Continental Winter Contact TS850 PBrilliant, I can't imagine driving my car in winter without these. Have them fitted again now.
5/5Nankang AS-2+I completely enjoy these tyres. They have transformed my driving experience, making it quieter and they grab the road extremely well.
