Latisha W.

I haven't driven a lot of miles on these tyres yet, but they seem to grip the road well and I have confidence in their braking. Price is reasonable for a mid-range tyre.

Vredestein Quatrac 5

Fionn G.

In every respect, it is exactly what I anticipated.

5/5

Goodyear Vector 4 Season

They are doing just as good as the Michelins that I typically go for.

4/5

Vredestein Quatrac 5

Although they don't handle quite as well as the Continental summer tyres I used to own, they do have a good grip, a quiet run, and a smart look.

5/5

Infinity Ecosis

It is a fantastic job, as road performance, balanced feel, grip, comfort, and overall improvement are great.

4/5

Vredestein Quatrac 5

I drive calmly, and they stop me suddenly.

5/5

Vredestein Quatrac 5

What more could you want? In my opinion, the best tyre. Performs varyingly well in dry, wet, icy, and snowy conditions.

5/5

Goodyear Vector 4 Season

When used with traction control, they worked well on icy roads.

185/55 R14 tyres fit small cars like Fiat Punto Sporting and Volkswagen Lupo Sport. The figures are simple. 185 is the width in millimetres, and 55 is the height as a percentage of the width. Therefore, in this case, the height of the tyre is 102mm and R14 means the tyre is of radial construction and fits a 14-inch rim. This makes the overall diameter 559mm. In these cars, this sidewall is the protection for the wheel against bumps on the road. 185/55 R14 is available at Tyres.co.uk.

Part of the size	Value	What it means
Section width	185	The width of the tyre across the tread, measured in millimetres.
Profile (aspect ratio)	55	Sidewall height as a percentage of the width - here, 55% of 185 mm (about 102 mm).
Construction	R	Radial construction, which is what nearly all road tyres use.
Rim diameter	14	The wheel diameter the tyre fits, measured in inches.
