Excellent grip and feel.

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

Alma K.

Being dry conditions an upgrade from the P6000 and ZE-512, it performs really well. I overall, quite please, not too shabby in the wet either.

5/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

Wonderful performance. They look great. Drove rapidly in heavy rain. No problems whatsoever.

5/5

I have total confidence in these tyres. Their performance in both dry and wet conditions is exceptional, and they give me confidence, and inspire confidence, in all types of road conditions. Fantastic tyres.

5/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

I haven't tried them in winter conditions, but so far, they look okay.

5/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

Up to this point, there have been no problems, they are performing well both in wet conditions and on the motorway.

5/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

Having much better comfort and handling than the Avon tyres I used to have.

4/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

The response from the new tyres is better than the old tyres. However, it is worse than the Continental SC3s.

4/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

They provide confidence when gripping in dry conditions and their handling in wet conditions is acceptable; however, they are not as reliable when it comes to handling slick wintry conditions.

5/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

They seem to match the car nicely. Pleased to have them fitted.

5/5

Yokohama S.Drive AS01

Excellent, great grip, quieter.

175/50 R16 tyres are low-profile tyres for smaller vehicles with 16-inch wheels. These numbers are fairly straightforward. The first number, 175, refers to the width of the tyre in millimetres. The second number, which in this case is 50, is the aspect ratio. This means that the height of the sidewall is 50% of 175mm which is 88mm. R16 designates a radial tyre that fits a 16-inch rim. The overall diameter of the wheel is 581mm. The shallow sidewall means the tyre has less cushioning which makes it uncomfortable on rough roads. Tyres.co.uk sells 175/50 R16 tyres.

Part of the size	Value	What it means
Section width	175	The width of the tyre across the tread, measured in millimetres.
Profile (aspect ratio)	50	Sidewall height as a percentage of the width - here, 50% of 175 mm (about 88 mm).
Construction	R	Radial construction, which is what nearly all road tyres use.
Rim diameter	16	The wheel diameter the tyre fits, measured in inches.
