The Yokohama S.Drive AS01 is engineered specifically for summer use and excelling in both responsive handling for dry conditions and wet. Their tread is asymmetric. Yokohama employs a continuous centre rib and larger outer block elements. Their grooving pattern is both longitudinal and transverse, which aids in water evacuation and the creation of biting edges. A silica rubber is used in the tread. Yokohama uses a summer construction here, meaning the S.Drive AS01 is designed for use at warmer and summer temperatures, above their usual construction and curing temperatures of about 7°C. Yokohama has given this S.Drive an asymmetric pattern, and when selecting this replacement, the sidewall load index and speed rating also must match the vehicle specs. I fitted them to a rear-wheel drive mid-engine sports car. I noticed an immediate improvement in handling, and the cost was fantastic. I don't think I have had them long enough to comment on tread life yet.

Excellent tyres that provide great grip no matter the weather conditions. I have had them on my car for a little over two years and after 20,000 miles, I will have to replace the front ones in a few months while the rear ones should last another six to eight months. They are far better than Avon, Dunlop, and Pirelli.

TF's are quite specific when it comes to tyres, and with Toyo now producing in Malaysia, Falken is the only (cautiously) recommended brand by MG Company. Chose to give another well-known brand a try, and so far, they are doing well. Good to handle in the wet and dry. We will see if they last longer than Toyo's.

I have had these tyres for just two weeks and so far I am really impressed. They have improved the way the car handles, are comfortable, and the road noise is acceptable (after all, any tyre makes noise at speed). I can't comment on the wear yet as they are still new. Overall, I am really impressed with their performance.

It is always nice to have new tyres for winter. My previous Goodyear tyres wore down unevenly. I would check the alignment regularly too.
