The Tristar Sportpower SUV summer tyre has an asymmetric tread design and four grooves around the tyre to remove water and reduce the risk of aquaplaning. Larger edge blocks give the tyre lateral support during cornering. The smaller blocks in the middle have slits to form additional edge sites and improve grip in the road in the middle. An SUVs reinforced casing is under the tread.
Reinforced XL models are available for SUVs needing a higher load limit. Speed ratings of W are also available for 168mph/ 270kmh sustained speed approval under testing criteria.
