  • Tick Icon Car
    Car tyre:

Designed for cars, rather than vans, 4x4s or commercial vehicles.

  • Tick Icon Reinforced (XL)
    Extra Load or Reinforced tyres:

A stronger sidewall lets this tyre carry more weight than a standard tyre of the same size. Marked XL on the sidewall.

  • Tick Icon Winter
    Winter tyres:

Designed for temperatures below 7°C. Summer tyre rubber hardens in the cold and loses grip, while a winter compound stays soft and holds the road in cold, wet and snowy conditions.

Product description & features

The tread on the Pirelli Scorpion Winter has been designed for specific performance in snowy, slushy and cool conditions. For that purpose, it has a splash and water removal system that consists of front-back directional grooves. It has short slits on it which create additional snow bite edges. Pirelli has designed a special winter tread and snow compound that helps the tread stay flexible and maintain contact with the road.

Some variations of the Pirelli Scorpion Winter do include the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System, which helps to reduce road noise in the cabin by utilising an internal sound-dampening layer in the tyre. The Scorpion Winter 2 has taken over this position in Pirelli's SUV Winter line. Tyres.co.uk has the Pirelli Scorpion Winter, including the Pirelli Noise Cancelling System Variants, in stock.

Highlights

  • Directional grooves for water removal
  • Extra snow-grip edges
  • Flexible winter tread compound
  • Noise-reducing inner layer available

Tyre review for Pirelli Scorpion Winter 255/50R20 109H XL
Changed my Vredestein Wintracs. These tyres are a lot quieter and provide excellent grip when wet. Like to try them in snow conditions too!
