Tyre review for Michelin Latitude Cross 245/65R17 111H XL
These tyres are great and provide good grip on the road and off the road. Now my vehicle has rear wheel drive 4x4, unlike my old front wheel drive car. Now I am able to drive more on tarmac. The grip that these tyres provide, both in the wet and dry conditions is the best of all the tyres that I have had. Even on the motorway, with heavy rain, I can feel the confidence from the double tread pattern. I feel the same way off road too. The tread is not as aggressive as the other brands such as BFG, but I was once told by a representative at a fair that they have had some tarmac grip issues. I care for my family's safety so I will stick for these tyres. I have tried general grabbers once and returned them after 200 miles as I found them slippery in the wet weather, whereas I found my old latitude cross tyres with some tread, and used them until I could set a new set. I could go through a roundabout at 30mph and the tyres gripped perfectly. You can't beat familiar quality, and it's clear.
