Michelin CrossClimate 3 is an all-season tyre that is supposed to offer consistent performance in wet braking and snow traction throughout the life of the tread. The CrossClimate 3 makes use of directional V-tread to move water out to the outer part of the tyre. The chevron tread blocks come together in the centre of the tyre while the grooves between shoulder blocks and tread slits create channels to allow the water to escape and more edges for traction in snow.

The CrossClimate 3 is the new model of the CrossClimate 2 and is part of the Michelin all-season tyres series. The CrossClimate 3 features the 3PMSF and M+S markings and can be used in severe snow conditions and mud and snow traversing. In addition, there is the CrossClimate 3 Sport for a sport focused all-season tyre. The CrossClimate 3 tyre is available at Tyres.co.uk for the all-season tyre for daily driving.

I drove less than 1,000 miles on them before a quick deflation happened because of an inexplicable sidewall split. I was thinking of putting the same tyres on my other car this week, but decided not to after I saw multiple reviews with this and other cross-climate brands mentioning sidewall punctures.

It's still early, but these tyres are performing well. Opted for these due to the ability to deal with snow without a summer change. They've coped well with snowy conditions and also with dry and milder weather. Still early for a full judgement.

Excellent tyres, as I expected. I changed my winter set for these and during the last snowy weather, they have only shown advantages. Our other car has a full set of CC2s and these perform much better on snow and ice. The steering is super direct, which makes the car much nicer to drive. These are the best all round tyres I can imagine for the changing conditions of the Scottish Highlands.

The difference in noise level after changing the tyres was the first thing I noted. Their road performance is excellent. Especially their wet condition grip. Fuel efficiency is about the same but only time will tell financially. These tyres are also excellent at cornering.
