The Hankook Vantra RA18 summer tyre has been designed for driving commercial vans on long-distance road trips. It has a tread-belt layer that caters to the need for a working van. The tyres each have a three-longitudinal-groove design that helps to channel water off the tyre surface while driving in the rain.

C-marked variants comply with Hankook’s commercial van tyres requirements. The variants can be easily distinguished from passenger car variants based on the markings on the sidewalls. The Hankook also refers to the variant as the Vantra LT RA18 where RA18 indicates the design of the light-commercial range of tyres. I have the same set of tyres on the van, so I chose to relocate the newer ones to the front. I'm not too pleased with the wear on the older ones, so I shifted them to the back, although everything else seems okay.

Excellent review, especially considering the rain. My old tyres would cause the van to slide when braking hard or cornering. These give much better traction.
