The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 uses a V-Shape tread pattern to quickly and efficiently disperse standing water, with Grooves along the tread to assist in transporting water and retaining grip on snow and ice. With 3PMSF snow performance certification, the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 delivers great all season performance. With regards to ice and snow, Goodyear says, “Our Snow Grip Technology helps keep you in control with precise biting edges.”. The centre blocks of the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 are spaced closely together with small slits in each to assist with traction on snow.

The Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 is the successor of the Vector 4Seasons Gen-2 in the Goodyear all-season collection. An added XL construction is available for the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 to cater to consumers with cars requiring higher loads. For those wanting an all-season tyre specifically for SUV’s and crossovers, an entirely separate tyre, the Vector 4Seasons Gen-3 SUV, is available. Bought these due to their claimed performance in snow and wet conditions as the Kumho tyres on the new car were the worst I'd used in snow. Snow grip was exceptional.

Satisfied with these tyres. My previous Continentals had shallow grip edges which led to side wear. Goodyear Vectors have plenty of tread throughout. The directional tread offers great handling in wet conditions and so far feels trustworthy in all weather.

I live in the rural northeast region of Scotland, so having good winter tyres is essential. My winter tyres worked exceptionally in the snow, and I was able to drive to places where other cars were stuck. I was also impressed by the fuel efficiency. The extra cost was worth it.
