Product description & features

The Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric) SUV AT is a summer tyre for SUVs and 4x4s, designed for tarmac but built with farm tracks and gravel access routes in mind. Asymmetric tread design means that part of the tyre has grooves that run front-to-back while the outer edge of the tread has an open channel. It features a reinforced casing for SUVs. Goodyear’s tyre compound has a technology that increases grip when cornering. Goodyear also has a high grip resin.

Goodyear later replaced this model with the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 SUV. Design of the original model focused on the warmer climate of the UK. As with the above, the original model was built for regular road use with the assumption that the SUV or 4x4 would sometimes need access to rough unpaved routes. Tyres.co.uk offers the Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric) SUV AT.

Highlights

  • Asymmetric tread with open outer channel
  • Reinforced casing for SUVs

Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric) SUV AT 255/50R20 109W XL
Everything has been good so far. Although I have not driven through heavy rain, I believe it would handle everything just as well as it does for light rain and dry weather. There is minimal noise while driving, the handling and brakes feel solid.

Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric) SUV AT 255/50R20 109W XL
Best replacements for the old ones from the same company, particularly because the original tread design is no longer on offer. These tyres are just as good, if not a touch better, in terms of fuel efficiency.
