The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 uses an asymmetric tread design to maximise both responsiveness and braking. The tread is split into distinct block layouts. Goodyear has a special name for their braking tech; they call it ActiveBraking Technology. This design creates an edge of braking tread to maximise the surface area of rubber in contact with the road during braking. Coupled with this tech is Power Cushion Technology, which adds stiffness and improves the connection for steering response.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 is the new and improved version of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3. The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 SUV also has the same asymmetric tread layout, but uses a different casing designed to hold the greater weights of SUVs and crossovers. For the past few weeks, I have been trying out my new tyres in all different weather conditions from dry spells to rain to heavy showers. They have been brilliant. On wet surfaces, I can feel a stronger grip compared to my last tyres which would skid sometimes. They are much quieter, my steering is more responsive, and my ride feels smoother. I feel much more confident driving knowing I have good tyres that can handle all weather conditions. Overall I am very happy and recommend them to everyone.
