Product description & features

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV uses summer tyre technology to optimise wet and dry braking. This is ideal for road going focus SUVs that spend a majority of their time on surfaced roads. This tyre uses Active Braking Technology, which shapes the tread blocks to maximise the rubber that makes contact with the road under braking. Goodyear’s Grip Booster Technology uses an added adhesive resin in the rubber compound, aiding adhesion to wet and dry surfaces.

SUV construction requires adhesion of the rubber compound to dry surfaces. This construction reinforces the weight and higher load ratings of larger vehicles, which differentiates it from the passenger-car Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3. The asymmetrical layout is designed to mitigate pattern noise during long journeys on the motorway. Tyres.co.uk stocks Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SUV.

Highlights

  • Summer tyre for SUVs

I have driven around 1000 miles on my new tyres and I am pretty satisfied so far. I really hope they will exceed the 14,500 miles that I got on my old Continental tyres.
