Product description & features

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 is a summer tyre designed for braking performance. The outer part of the asymmetric tread has large blocks to help with cornering. The inner part has an open design to assist with the removal of water via front-to-back grooves. With ActiveBraking Technology, the contact area of the tread increases the part touching the road when braking. A high-silica compound is used in the tread to assist with grip on the road when it is wet.

Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 is still available in performance car and SUV fitments. It has a summer construction for temperatures over approximately 7 degrees Celsius. Some variants have reinforced XL sidewalls to handle higher load vehicles. You can find the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 on Tyres.co.uk.

Being run flats, they're a little on the firmer side. They also have great road grip and I intend to buy some more.

Tyre review for Goodyear Eagle F1 (Asymmetric 2) 245/40R20 99Y XL
They wore out easily, achieving about 11,000 miles on the front tyres of my rear-wheel-drive BMW and, to be fair, the alignment was really off, and the fitter said it could be due to potholes.
