History

Firemax was founded in 2015, using modern technology to forge and advance tyre design and production methods. Superior testing ensures that every individual model meets the standards of the brand – and while Firemax doesn’t fall at the upper end of the premium tyre market, its innovation and use of modern tyre technology is comparable to that of brands like Michelin and Goodyear.

Because Firemax tyres are produced by Shandong Haohua, which is one of China’s most prolific tyre manufacturers, they benefit from exposure to leading development and testing facilities – as evidenced in the high-quality grip and traction of high-performance and everyday tyres.

Just some of the accolades that elevate Firemax’s brand reputation include pioneering manufacturing methods that ensure the quality of tyres are balanced with sustainability and affordability for drivers.

Firemax’s Position on the Tyre Market

Firemax is a brand that sits between budget tyre and mid-range tyres. Known for innovative design and production methods, these tyres are favoured by drivers for their cost, their handling control and stability, and the safety of Firemax tyres. While not a premium brand like Pirelli or Bridgestone, Firemax is still recognised as a reputable option for drivers.

The collection includes quality tyres for passenger cars and other vehicles, including off-road vehicles and hybrid SUVs. It also includes seasonal tyres as well as the versatile all-season tyres that drivers in the UK often choose, benefitting from the year-round suitability of all-season tyres in the temperate UK climate.

Popular Models and Collections

Firemax boasts a diverse range of tyres, from the off-road Firemax FM523 tyres for rough terrain and challenging surfaces, to the urban-matched FM601 summer tyres. Other top rated models include the Firemax FM601-4 Grooves tyres, the FM518 tyres, and the broad FM316 tyres.

From these, the FM601 is the tyre that is most often selected by UK drivers, owing to its balance of wet grip, stable handling, and low road noise as well as durability. This features are particularly prominent in the UK where the lack of extreme weather conditions means drivers are most often faced with wet roads and changing terrains.

Browsing the Firemax Catalogue by Season
Summer tyres represent the largest selection of Firemax tyres, with some boasting all-season features that render them suitable for year-round use in the UK, while the brand also has a selection of winter tyres that optimise traction in colder climates.

All-season tyres are the most popular with UK drivers for their flexibility. Browse premium all-season tyres from premium brands right down to budget brands, if you want a year-round solution – or explore the summer tyres available from Firemax below.

A large percentage of the Firemax tyre range is made up of summer tyres, bridging wet grip with dry performance, dispelling surface water, and holding the tyres’ shape even under the pressure of high temperatures. Some of the most popular summer tyres from Firemax include the classic FM601 tyres, the FM916 tyres, the FM913 tyres, and the FM518 tyres. All of these have different tread patterns, some with chunky tread blocks for rough terrain while others have added sipes cut into the tread surface to help dispel water and reduce the risk of aquaplaning.

Winter tyres need to be able to retain their pliability in cold temperatures, while ensuring safe traction and good grip on icy road surfaces. Within the Firemax car tyre range, tyres like the FM805 and the FM805+ tyres are among the best winter tyres, with asymmetrical tread patterns that are suitable for handling ice and snow as well as rough terrain.

Choosing the Best Car Tyres for Your Vehicle

Firemax is a brand that sits at the affordable end of the tyre market, balancing modern tyre technology and innovation with affordable tyre designs that are favoured for their handling, reliability, and endurance on the roads.
